January 17th, 2013: Progress!
Today wasn't too interesting (as promised), other than Lyra's sleeping habits getting worse! Last night was HELL. She woke up 12 times between 7pm and 9pm, then every half hour aaaaall the way until 7am when she was up for good- which means I didn't even get a wink of sleep :( Lyra also decided that it'd be a good idea to scream.. all. day. So not only am I exhausted, my head is pounding! She'll be sleeping in my bed tonight so hopefully we can both get some much needed rest. My mom wanted to play with her a bit, so Bug is screaming downstairs at the moment.
The ex of course didn't call last night, and yes, he did use one of the excuses I mentioned. Nothing new with that.
I went and signed the remaining paperwork at Lyra's new day home this evening and she officially starts on Monday :( I'm gonna miss her soooo much! On the plus side, I can get lots of housework done, finish my CALM course and nap... nap a lot. I also got to go tanning today! Yay! I'm finally seeing some progress, I was ghostly pale and now am noticing a color!
Tomorrow I have my best friend Ashley coming over in the morning and we're gonna paint our nails and hang out with Lyra. In the evening I have a hair appointment, which I don't have a clue what I'm going to be doing! Ashley will have some input I'm sure. My hair is down to my belly button and the layers and my bangs are super grown out so it looks so boring!
Hopefully I'll have more to write about tomorrow.. and that Lyra actually sleeps tonight..
