January 26th, 2013: Real Progress

As you know, Lyra went to bed really well last night. She also had 2 good naps today, and went to bed at 7pm- all without a fuss! Clearly she has had a major turn over compared to the past week!! She does wake up exactly 39 minutes from the time she falls asleep, then 7 minutes, then 13 minutes, want a bit of her bottle and she'll sleep for about 2-3 hours. I just need to get that first hour under control so she can self-soothe herself through those transitions.
Today, Lyra woke up at 7. We played in
bed and watched some Bubble Guppies until about 9. In the next few hours we went to Shoppers to get formula and some skittles, then my daily Starbuck fix. She had about a 40 minute nap in the car. When we got home we played some more until about 1 when she laid for a good 2 hour nap! As planned, we went shopping and I got the white tank top I needed, along with a t-shirt, another shirt and some new headphones! Still needing a bag that can hold my macbook though.. The rest of the day was pretty uneventful.
Tomorrow, my ex is supposed to take Lyra in the morning. His definition of "morning" is more around noon though lol. I'm hoping to get some laundry done and paint my nails, then probably sleep and relax.
Next weekend or the following I'm actually going to plan a night out to celebrate my going back to school :) So that should be a good change from my usually boring weekends!
